Fitness challenge in support of our hospital charity

A Gateshead gym is inviting people to take part in National Fitness Day to raise money for QE Charitable Funds.

On Wednesday 26th September, 3d Health and Fitness Gym at Cardinal Hume will be opening its doors to all non-members for just £1.  They are also inviting everyone to take part in the 3d Leisure Clubs nationwide challenge to burn a total of 100k calories across the country on the day.  All funds raised will go to help patients and their families here at the QE.

National Fitness Day is a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays, helping to raise awareness of its importance in leading healthier and active lifestyles.

James Lavelle, Club Manager at Cardinal Hume, said: “As a gym manager, helping people to live a healthy and happy life is what I do and care about. Being local to the QE Hospital, I admire the hard efforts staff put into helping people with their health too. It's why I would like to use National Fitness Day as an opportunity to raise some money to support their very challenging work and raise awareness of this brilliant charity.”

If you would like to challenge yourself, pop along to 3d Health and Fitness Cardinal Hume on Wednesday 26th September. You can find out more here:
